It really wasn't at all like another retreat or marriage class. The main difference was that it was tailored to exactly where we were at. I think it is more like a period of structured mentoring than a typical retreat.
The setting was super comfortable... The food was amazing, the hosts are excellent cooks. I loved having everything there at the location... giving us more time for going deeper with the content.
No matter how bad or good your marriage is, it will be better from taking this retreat.
Phil and Vicky are people we trust with the darkest moments of our lives. They stood with us and held up our arms to allow us to continue.

It was so great to have time to process things as a couple... It was more than just a take in of a lot of information... we had time to apply it to our lives and even practice things, pray through things.
I was surprised at the level of vulnerability and openness from our hosts. I think that helped with connection and feeling understood. I liked that it didn’t feel like I was being interrogated.
[Phil and Vicky] are completely trustworthy and create a safe, comfortable environment where
everyone can speak openly, free from judgment. They are vulnerable and honest about their own
struggles, hurts, and conflicts.
It was challenging fitting in everything that we wanted. I do wish that we had more time!
Phil and Vicky... lead so well with their vulnerability and we felt very valued, heard, and understood.
This was the best ever. I think that you were not just running us through a program – but you cared for us.
